We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting out from Preston Candover outside the post office/village shop (opposite the school) we will walk anticlockwise in a North Easterly loop along small roads and tracks through the village of Bradley and up towards Ellisfield before heading South past the beautiful Moundsmere Manor Estate back to the start point.
The first half involves a steady ascent but there is nothing too challenging and there were no stiles when we last walked it..... it might be muddy in places!
There are far-reaching views.
Please bring a packed lunch and all drinks/snacks required (no places to buy en route) - we will stop for a mid-morning break and then a lunch break approximately two-thirds of the way round.
I advise walk poles and gaiters for those who have them.
Please let me know if you intend to join this walk and whether you would like to car-share (particularly relevant given the distance from Winchester) and I will try to coordinate if necessary.
Meet point just outside the village shop/PO on the main road through the village and adjacent to the village hall. There are several parking spaces on the left (coming from the South) before you reach the shop and also in Stenbury Drive to the right.
