Overview

The route passes through Philips Park, then crosses the M60 and takes the Outwood Trail and the Irwell Sculpture Trail to the Bolton and Bury Canal. It follows the canal through Radcliffe, goes up to the Withins and Elton reservoirs and then descends to Bury finishing at Bury Metro station.

Anyone not wishing to do the whole walk can drop out at Radcliffe for the tram.
