Overview

Catching 9:11 train from Cardiff Central (or stops on way). Leader joining at Heath High Level. Buy return to Bargoed. The walk passes Bedwellty church before crossing the Sirhowy Valley to reach Pen y Fan Pond (hopefully with open cafe and toilets). We then drop back to follow the Sirhowy river for a while before returning to the Rhymney Valley via Bargoed Woodland Park to Pengam station.
