Walk Description -

Initially walking along footpaths behind Ratho Primary School and we will view the progress on the new Surf Centre. Walk continues through houses and on road till we make an ascent through field, which may be muddy. We enter woodland paths, which offer spectacular views of the Pentlands and the Bridges. After coffee in the woods we rejoin the road and walk through Ratho, where the shorter walk of 4 miles can finish, and the longer walk of 6 miles takes us along the canal to the Climbing Centre, where we will have lunch with the opportunity to use the toilets. Return via path and roads to the start point.

Bring gaiters if wet, and walking poles if you use them.

PD £1    ITD £0
