Overview

A short walk along the River Twyi which then follows a fairly steep track up to the old Rhandirmwyn Lead Mines. There will be a stop at the top of ’Crystal Mountain’ to take in the wonderful views across the valley and over to Mynydd Ddu.  Returning to Rhandirmwyn village on a narrow track where walkers can take refreshments in the Royal Oak Inn. Walking poles are highly recommended as parts of the walk are steep and quite gritty.
