Overview

We’ll start with a short walk of just under two miles to the lookout point to see the incredible view of Worms Head.

We then return by a truly ‘Vile’ way to the start.

(Vile being the name for the rare medieval field system!).

If you don’t feel up to the whole walk, join Helen just for this lovely 2-mile section.

Just after midday, we’ll start the second part of the walk, 4 miles to Hillend and back.

(N.B. Anybody just wanting to do the second section to Hillend can meet us in the Rhosili car park about 12 p.m.)

We’ll then walk along the magnificent beach to Hillend.  After a break at the caravan park, we’ll return via the lower path at the bottom of Rhosili Down, passing behind the old vicarage.

Stiles:  There are no stiles

Toilets: At Rhosili and Hillend

Terrain: First section, flattish 2-mile walk.  Second section, steep descent to beach. Gradual climb to Rhosili on way back.
