Overview

This is an easy-paced walk of approximately 4 miles following very good green tracks, parks and streams, trees hopefully in blossom, including the Rea Valley route, Victoria Common and Bournville Park finishing at the Outer Circle bus route at Bournville.   For those who wish, to finish the afternoon an opportunity for a tea break at Kafenion cafe just across the road from where we finish the walk. Return can be train from Bournville, or buses.

Join our free, led walks to celebrate the Ring of Blossom around Birmingham. All walks start at or close to, the outer circle and are open to Ramblers’ members and non-members. There is no need to book a place. Just turn up and enjoy.

Meet at the main entrance Kings Norton station on Pershore Road South, B30 3EG. By train -  Kings Norton station is on the Cross City Line and there are plenty of trains. By bus - the number 11 Outer Circle bus stops at Watford Road Cotteridge : please alight here and cross the road to Kings Norton station to join the rest of the party. The 45 and 47 buses from and to the city centre also stop opposite Kings Norton Station.
