Overview

This circular route begins with a circumnavigation of Hay-on-Wye, with a visit to Cusop chrurch, a crossing of the Dulas Brook, slipping briefly into England. From here, the path climbs towards the ancient earthworks of Mouse Castle, then rises onto Cusop Hill before delving into the twisting green corridors of ancient Hay. Continuing over the open heights of the Tack Wood, the Spud Patch and various ancient woods. The walk follows a patchwork of lesser-known tracks towards Hay Command and back down to Hay
