Overview

Setting out from the car park near Coanwood we follow the South Tyne Trail northward to Park Village where we track down to the river and pickup the River Tyne Trail all the way to the Lambley viaduct. We then cross the river at the low level footbridge and then up to the Viaduct, via the steps, and then over the river again and back to the car park. The steps are fairly steep.

There will be a stop for a picnic lunch.
