Overview

From Crookfield Road car park we go to Ryal Fold through Tockholes Nr 3 Plantation having passed by the ruins of Hollinshead Hall.

After a short rest, up on to the moors we go on the track to Lyons Den. From the footpath junction we then head on the tracks to the high point of Cartridge Hill, at 402 m for some good views, should the weather be favourable. Continuing on we join one of the many Witton Weavers Way paths on the way down to the car park.
