Overview

Starting from the layby south of Byland Abbey we walk up through Abbey Bank Wood to Cam House, then Cockerdale Wood and Cockerdale Farm to Scotch Corner for our lunch break.  Returning via Shaw's Gate, High Town Bank Road and Oldstead Grange.  A mixture of woodland tracks and field paths with a short section along a minor road.
