Car Parking - available around Sale Metrolink Stop
Walk route - Sale Metrolink Stop, Broad Road, Bridgewater Canal, Edge of Priory Gardens, Over Suspension Bridge, Sale Water Park Boat House (toilets), around Sale Water Park Lake (lunch stop), River Mersey, Sale Water Park Metrolink Stop . The walk is mostly flat. Note - Parts on the route are very muddy. Strong waterproof footwear and gaiters are highly recommended.
Expected time back at Sale Water Park Metrolink - no later than 3.00pm (for car users a tram journey back to Sale Metrolink Stop with change at Trafford Bar)
Walking boots or shoes and clothing (waterproof jacket in wet weather conditions) essential.
Please bring a light lunch and non-alcoholic drinks.
