We are the Biddulph Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We begin by looking at the Saxon Crosses on the cobbles in the centre of Sandbach. we then pass by the Old Hall Hotel and cross over the A534. We then go through a grassy area to join a farm track alongside Sandbach Heath. Continuing on the brook edge we climb out of the valley to cross the motorway bridge and follow the footpath into Hassall Green, before dropping down onto the canal. The towpath takes us through Malkins Bank to Wheelock. Passing by Sandbach Mill we then return to Sandbach.
We will have two breaks. There are several stiles.
Free car park (off the A534 roundabout) at the lower end below Waitrose car park.
