Overview

This 11-mile walk leaves Sandwich to follow the English Coast path to Bloody Point and up to Shellness, where there is a reasonable chance of seeing the seals. We then return via two iconic Open Golf Championship courses, as we head along the Stour Valley Walk to reach Princes Golf Course for our lunch stop.

There is a Cafe/bar open to the public at Prince's, but probably to best to also bring own food. From there it is back to Sandwich across Royal St George’s, which last held the Open in 2021 on the Saxon Shore Way.

Walk leader is Maura Pell
