We are the City of Birmingham Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
B WALK DESCRIPTION: 9 miles with 1,250 ft of climbing. Circular from Bellman’s Cross, Shatterford on the A442 road, 4 miles North of Kidderminster. The walk starts North into Arley Wood. Then after emerging from the wood, Southeast down the ridge of Castle Hill to Kingsford Forest Park. South through Blakeshill Common to Solcum Farm. Then West to Drakelow and Kingsford Caravan Park, where we may stop at a pub if it’s open. Then skirt round Bodenham Arboretum back to Bellman’s Cross. Maps Explorer 218, Landranger 138. Picnic lunch.
