If you are a Ramblers member, please bring your membership card. You MUST text or ring the leader to BOOK a place. You should not join the walk unless you have received a verbal CONFIRMATION or a TEXT.
On this walk we combine the fabulous views from Cold Kitchen Hill on the Western Wessex Downs with the beauty of Shear Water on the Longleat Estate. We head South to the Outskirts of Brixton Deverill where we begin the ascent to Cold Kitchen hill and the Beacon. Traversing the ridge on the Mid Wilts Way we take in the view across the valley to the Glider airfield at Kingston Deverill before turning North to Parsonage Farm and the Longleat Estate.

For those members who are happy to car share, we meet first at the Bath Road car park in Chippenham. (“Pay and Display”).Lifts are suggested at £4.80.
