If you are a Ramblers member, please bring your membership card. You MUST text or ring the leader to BOOK a place. You should not join the walk unless you have received a verbal CONFIRMATION or a TEXT.
This wonderful countryside is worthy of continual exploration. The Monarchs Way will take us to Oxpens Farm and from here we head across to Yanworth Wood. We pause at Podmakers to admire their work (yes they make astonishing pods) and then progress to the Roman Villa and maybe a coffee if we choose. A steady uphill section brings us to the WW2 airfield and we turn South to drop into the village of Chedworth past the Church. Our route now takes us along the pretty valley to Lower Chedworth and Fossebridge followed by an easy walk back to the cars.

For those members who are happy to car share, we meet first at the Bath Road car park in Chippenham. (“Pay and Display”). Lifts are suggested at £5.00.
