Overview

Woodland bordering Longleat, decent views and Shearwater are the various highlights on this walk.  The route, to be precise, starts from Shearwater before going through Foxholes Plantation to reach Foxholes itself and the A350.  A bridleway with views is followed across country to Shute Farm, before woodland paths to the west and north of Shearwater bring us back to the car park.  A gently undulating walk with no stiles; one overgrown section where wearing shorts could mean nettle stings. Bring snack.
