We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This attractive walk is initially quite flat, passing through farmland and woods, but ascends steeply onto the South Downs at Edburton. We follow the SDW along the ridge to Truleigh Hill and descend gradually, crossing the River Adur to join the Downs Link. This path takes us on to Bramber and Upper Beeding for a pub lunch or picnic. The shorter return leg heads north along the riverside path and then cuts back to Small Dole.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers. The walk will start from the village of Small Dole at the junction of the A2037 Shoreham Road and Tottington Drive. Roadside parking in either Tottington Drive or Orchard Close.
