Overview

We will follow the South Downs Way along an extensive series of grassy hilltops, offering pleasing views of the verdant Sussex countryside to the north and the shimmering ocean azure to the south. We finish with the Devil's Dyke.

The Way generally sticks to the highest point of elevation along the tops, so the undulation should mostly be moderate. That said, this is a long and demanding walk, so a brisk pace will be taken.

Please bring a packed lunch. There will be a pub stop near the end (most likely Jack and Jill).
