We are the Romsey Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A chance for members who are unable to join us mid-week to come on a longer walk. The walk takes us north, along farm tracks, to Wonston and then west, with some lovely riverside views, to Weston Colley. It then turns south along more farm tracks to the start. There are some connecting section on quiet public roads. With a number of stiles the walk is not suitable for walkers with dogs.
Romsey Rapids rear car park adjacent to the Romsey Town Football Pitch fence for possible car-sharing. Please contact the walk leader at least 24 hours in advance if a lift is wanted.
South Wonston recreation ground car park - travel to the end of Downs Road and turn right at the T-junction into West Hill Road South. The car park is at the end of the road.
