Overview

We will walk along Eastcliff, stopping to view Vernon Watkins memorial stone.

Weather permitting, we will have great views across Oxwich and Cefn Bryn to the west.

We will pass High Pennard Hillfort as we walk on to Pwll Du Head for fantastic views to Caswell and beyond to the east.

We will walk down to the Gravesend memorial to 68 people buried there following the sinking of The Caesar in 1760.

Following the coast path to Pwll Du Bay, we will then walk to Bishopston Valley and back up to Southgate.

We will be accompanied by a photographer taking photos for Gower AONB publicity (opting out of photos is ok).
