A walk along the inland section of the Wales Coast Path to Penclawdd. Fine views over Loughor Estuary from the hills over which the coast path travels.
The coast path then joins the Active Travel Path to Penclawdd.
Here we can stop where you can buy Fish and Chips to eat while looking out across the estuary or have an ice-cream in GG’s Gelateria.
The walk one-way is about 3.5 miles so those not wishing to walk back could catch the bus from Penclawdd to Gowerton.
The rest of us will retrace our route back to the start.
Social after walk:
Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to The Farmers Arms in Swansea Road, Waunarlwydd.
Directions:
The car park is on the north side of the B4295 bypass, near The Commercial Inn, close to the crossroads of Sterry and Station Roads.
