Overview

The St Edmund Way is a long distance path across Suffolk, connecting Manningtree to Brandon. We'll gradually walk the whole 80 mile route in a series of walks, exploring some of the surrounding area as we go.

We're trying to complete the whole trail without any/much car shuffling, and as we're in the more rural parts of the route, this will be a circular walk.

Starting at Stoke by Nayland, we'll walk 7 miles along the St Edmund Way to Ager Fen, where we'll leave the trail and use local footpaths to complete the circuit. The route will pass through a lovely rolling part of the Stour Valley, passing beautiful churches along the way

With limited facilities along the route, please bring enough food and drink for the day. Car sharing encouraged.
