Departing from the Sportsfield we will walk south to the pretty village of Chelsworth, proceed uphill along a very quiet stretch of road, cross some meadows with sheep grazing, and then back to Bildeston with a visit to the church. This route involves walking along "The Street" in Chelsworth, much of which has a grass verge, although care should be taken as occasional lorries travel along this road.
The Sportsfield pavilion will be open at the END of the walk for use of the toilets, and there will be a charge of £2 per car. The entrance to this facility is on Consent Lane which runs parallel to the High Street.
