A fine walk in the hills above Loch Earn. It starts at St Fillans and goes through woodland on to the open grouse moor. On the descent, there are lovely views of the Loch, and a return through old oak woods.
This is a fairly short walk, only 10.5 km in length, on good hill tracks with one river crossing. Mainly dry underfoot so gaiters not required. The start is quite steep but after a short while the route levels out and is a pleasant meander around the hills north of Loch Earn.
Our high point is around 450m so no supplementary oxygen required for this route.
