We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A return to a local favourite to welcome in the new year. We begin at the lower lodges in Stanmer park ( accessible by any bus to the university or short walk from falmer station) We walk up through the woods, across the fields at the top. and back through the woods. Dogs must be on lead when livestock present. Walk may be muddy. Its a steady ascent and descent but is not steep. Toilets and refreshments at the start. If its really poor weather, walk will not take place, please check on day. Paid parking at the start ( paybyphoneapp) or you can park for free in coldean, or falmer and walk to the start ( 10 minutes)
South entrance to Stanmer off the A27 Brighton to Lewes. Easiest to access via Coldean Lane, turn left at both traffic lights and take first left into the park.
