The Lancaster Bomber "installation" is now in place - I thought it would be good to have a viewing (from a distance - the construction site is not open to the public yet). It's not a new walk but is pleasant and usually fairly dry (under foot - can't guarantee the weather!), there are lengths of quiet lanes but also footpaths and of course woody bits with a few stiles.

Stapleford Lane, either the small carpark on Lodge Drive (east) or alongside the track on the west side - Please park considerately as there are houses there. We have tried to use the main car park previously but the simplest route from there has been flooded!
