Overview

A walk around the village of Baslow in Derbyshire taking in Chatsworth park below and the edges and moorland above. Be prepared for some climbs with great views and a long, steep descent.

Usual refreshment stops for coffee and lunch so bring some provisions!

Walkers with dogs please note there are signs throughout Chatsworth park asking for them to be kept on leads.

Start point is on the green by the car park with toilets in centre of Baslow. Parking in the car park is at a cost of £6.60 for the day. You can pay by phone or CASH. NO CARD PAYMENT. Some street parking is also available on Eaton Hill in the village if you get there early!
