Note: this walk has been rescheduled from 31 May.

A walk through Wandsworth’s leafy streets and green spaces, including Tooting and Wandsworth Commons, King George’s Park and Wandsworth Park. Section 5 of the Capital Ring route takes us from Streatham Common station to Earlsfield; we then follow the Wandle river to the Thames, crossing over the ‘Iron Bridge’ to finish at Putney Bridge station.

Public toilets at Streatham Common station, Tooting Bec Common and Wandsworth Common.  Flat, mainly hard surface terrain, with long stretches of road walking; some steep steps.

Lunch: Café or picnic at Wandsworth Common.
