Overview

Meet 10am at Cowey Sale car park, Walton Bridge (TQ09256630, nearest postcode for SatNavs KT12 1QP). We cross the bridge to walk through Shepperton for a drinks stop at the Nature Reserve next to Longacres Garden Centre, before traversing Sunbury golf course and School Walk to arrive at Sunbury village. The lunch stop is at the Walled Garden or the nearby Admiral Hawke pub. After lunch we cross the river on the Sunbury Ferry (Saturdays and Sundays only, Easter to September, fares: £2.00 card payment only), and afterwards we walk back to Walton Bridge.

This is the second walk I have led using the Sunbury Ferry, which started running in July 2021.

If you would like to join this walk, please text or call the walk leader by early evening on the day before.
