We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Countryside walk across fields, paths, a short section of road walking, a few stiles and a number of gates and footbridge. We walk from Chawton to Farringdon for coffee, across fields to Hartley Mauditt, Hartley pond and church for lunch and back to Chawton via Chawton House estate.
This is a picnic walk, please bring lunch, snacks and drinks. Additional drinks if the weather is hot.
Poles are advisable if used.
Please let me know if you are joining my walk as we may leave early if all known walkers have arrived.
Parking at Chawton Village car park or on the road leading to Chawton Church.
