Overview

This walk begins at Hawkley Church, along the Hangers Way, over Oakshott stream, a long and steep track up through Down Hanger with views east along the South Downs.  At the top of Wheatham Hill, onto Cobbett's View. Climb up Shoulder of Mutton Hill for our lunch break.

This walk has an abundance of wild garlic and other wildflowers and several stiles. The climbs are well worth the effort for stunning views.
