Overview

This walk takes us through Winchester to the Itchen Navigation Path, up St Catherine's Hill, down the newly restored steps and onto Compton Lock.

Through Hockley Golf Course, high path with views of St Catherine's Hill, across 5 Bridges Road, along the Viaduct and footpath to St Cross Hospital.

We walk back to Winchester along the river, passing Winchester College to return to Abbey Gardens.

Mainly along good tracks.
