Overview

Starting from the gate on the A259 at Telscombe Tye you will walk up the sloping hillside and continue on field paths to the left of Telscombe village before turning right towards Breaky Bottom and the Glamping site, walking through fields with sheep. From there we will ascend round the site towards Southease and then descend on Southdown Way, through South Farm and then following a Bridleway towards and uphill through Telscombe village (with some road walking) before returning back down to the Telscombe Tye starting point.

Good walking shoes and Hiking poles are recommended. There are 2 of each steep descents and ascents during the middle part of the walk, but these are not too long. There are a few small areas where the ground may be loose under foot so care must be taken. Most walking is on grass, descent footpaths and some road with low traffic. There are no stiles but some gates.
