From Links Road North car park, just past Larick Centre and campsite, we cross Lundin Bridge and follow the coast towards Tentsmuir Point, either on the beach or on paths above the beach. At the boundary of the National Nature Reserve we head south, alternating between forest tracks and Tentsmuir Sands to reach the main Tentsmuir car park, where there are toilets and a picnic area. We return through the forest on a variety of paths.
Local grade: C+ RADO
Beach and coastal paths may have soft sand and exposed tree roots. Forest paths are mostly good, firm gravel or grass surfaces. The latter may be muddy in places after heavy rain.
