Overview

This is a slightly longer but relatively easy, flat walk taking in Chavenage House (where the TV series Poldark was filmed) and supposedly a hermit’s cave (but we couldn’t find it). Some road walking at the start, and end of the walk but the rest is fields and footpaths.

After the walk we can have a drink at the Royal Oak which is at the entrance to the car park - where you can also have a delicious Sunday roast, probably book in advance.  There is also a cafe in the car park if you prefer coffee and cake.
