Overview

We start from the village of Thorner then across fields to Milner Wood. Following a pleasant track to Ragdale Plantation and Stubbing Moor. Walking along the line of a Roman road and the settlement of Pompocali. Proceeding through Hetchell Wood to a disused rail line and the village of Bardsey for a picnic lunch. Afterwards we pass the oldest pub in England on our way to Scarcroft then follow the Leeds Country Way over fields back to Thorner.
