The loop takes in Tideswell, Litton , Cressbrook , Monsal Head and Brushfield. There is some road walking and some paths are rocky . There are uphill parts and some very steep downhill parts. The views however make it all worthwhile. We will stop at Monsal Head where the is a pub, a café and public toilets.
Walkers are reminded it is their responsibility to wear appropriate footwear/clothing, bring adequate food and drink and carry emergency contact details. Go to the Walks/Information for Walkers tab for more details.
Meet in the pay and display car park at Tideswell Dale . £6.60 all day. So car sharing is advised where possible. Take B6049 out of Tideswell . The entrance is not clearly marked but is on the left just after you pass the sewage works on your right. There are public toilets at the car park.
