This 8 mile circular walk starts at Tilford village green, south-east of Farnham. We follow a wooded path along the River Wey and then visit Frensham Common with its two beautiful ponds. There are some rough sandy tracks which can be uneven and muddy after rain. We will stop for lunch at the snack bar by Frensham Great Pond. Occasionally this is closed so bring some food just in case.
There is a car park on the village green. We have a car sharing system which is described on the Kingston Ramblers website - Walker's page; please take a look if you can offer a lift or need one.
There is a post office/cafe in Tilford if you arrive early. There are no toilets until we reach the snack bar at lunch time. The Barley Mow pub on the green is a nice spot for a post walk drink.
