Join me on a gentle undulating, circular walk, from Elstead to Tilford. Meet opposite Elstead Village hall and War memorial. Park in the layby, on Thursley Rd, or just past on West Hill or Staceys Farm Rd, nearest post code GU8 6DG (car share advised) Enjoy the Autumn colours as we follow pathways next to farmland, through woods and across Ockley ,Elstead, Thursley, Hankley and Tilford Commons. Optional challenge of a 10 minute detour up the hill at Lions mouth to take in the view! There will be a BYO coffee stop in woodland by The Moat.
Lunch will be at approximately 13:15hrs by The Barley Mow pub in Tilford (01252 792205) Please book a table a week in advance if you wish to have a meal at the pub, alternatively there is the Little Latte Coffee house, next door to the pub and plenty of Benches outside the cafe and pub and around The Green for picnickers. After lunch we will return to Elstead via Stockbridge and Westbrook.
