Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform at Manchester Victoria Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at Todmorden station.

Waypoints: Rochdale Canal, Callis Bridge, Jumble Hole Clough (steep ascent), Great Rock, Wizard of Whirlaw, Whirlaw Rocks
Return Services: Trains every 20 minutes back to Manchester

There are two walks from Todmorden on this day, and this is the more strenuous of the two.
We start by walking along the Rochdale canal before the steep ascent onto open moorland and onto Great Rock, where there are fantastic views of the surrounding area.
We also visit the Wizard of Whirlaw monument.
There may be mud on this walk depending on recent weather, so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
