We are the Rochdale Ramblers. The Rochdale Group was established in October 1994 and are part of the Manchester and High Peak Area of the Ramblers Association. We welcome new and potential members to join our walks.

For the first part of the walk we are on mainly good paths with very few inclines as we take in parts of the Kirklees Trail and Tottington lines. We are walking into Tottington village where there will be a lunch stop and then heading up to Holly Mount and back down to Greenmount. There are a couple of inclines and 2-3 stiles in the second part of the walk.
Please note that dogs (other than assistance dogs) are not permitted on our walks.
Meet for roadside parking on Brandlesholme Road, Greenmount, near the cricket club and near the junction with Vernon Road.
