Overview

Back by popular demand (?) a fascinating walk following the Medway as it meanders to join the Thames estuary from the little village of Lower Upnor which was a 19th century holiday resort that now has a jumble of chandlers shops, marinas and waterside pubs. The walk climbs through woodland and along the higher ground to Hoo St Werburgh giving commanding views of the estuary. We walk back along the shoreline.
