Overview

We start from Buckland Memorial Hall car park. Please consider giving a donation for the upkeep of the car park. Donation box in the car park. If the Memorial Hall car park is full, there is alternative parking on St George's Road, outside St George's Church. From the Memorial Hall we walk to St Hugh's School and then on to Littleworth. We take the footpath from Littleworth down to Carswell Marsh. Please note that there a number of stiles on this path, some of them particularly high. There are also a couple of heavy clay fields to cross which can be hard going especially if the ground is wet. At Carswell Marsh we will stop for a drink and snack before returning to St Hugh's via Carswell Lane which is a quiet gently upwards sloping lane and easy underfoot. We then retrace our steps back to Buckland Memorial Hall. Vale Walk Leader SMa 07770 751453
