Overview

A lovely autumn walk from Wantage to Lockinge stopping at the peaceful Parkinson Garden

Out through Charlton, around the new pathway behind Crabhill / Kingsgrove across the A417 and on to the Parkinson Garden in Lockinge. Returning via the footpath to Lark Hill and then into Wantage. No stiles or hills. 

A regular short walk from Wantage held on the third Thursday of every month. No pub stop but we aim to be back in Wantage in time for lunch. Wantage has a variety of eating places. Wantage is reachable directly by bus from Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot, Faringdon. Vale Walk Leader PR 07418 078044
