Picturesque route in northern Hampshire through Tylney Park Golf Club and by the Tylney Hall ha-ha and on to edge of Hook and returning via Rotherwick Common.
VEHICLE ACCESS WARNING
Due to some ongoing building repairs there is no vehicle access from the north to the golf club lane where the walk starts (SU708558). Parking is still available but people will have to drive to the southern entrance and then drive north past the Club House. There will be lots of cars around the Club House area but then the parked cars will thin out as one approaches the northern (blocked) entrance from the south. To get to the southern entrance from the north, instead of turning into the golf club lane, keep left and follow the road for about a kilometer and the southern entrance is then a sharp right turn into the course. (For those who are interested, you'll be passing the 2nd green, the 3rd tee and then along the 5th, all to your right. Tylney Hall is on the left). If you find yourself at the Tylney Hall entrance then you've gone too far.
