Overview

 An 8 mile moderate walk from the Royal Hotel Norton. Heading out to Womersley over flattish fields (MUDDY) and then on to Smeaton for a pub stop  and back to the Royal, arriving at the Royal about 14. 30 for drinks and lunch.

Take the A19 north out of Doncaster. Go through Askern and cross the railway line. Carry on the A19 for about half a mile then turn left towards Norton, cross the level crossing, past the Laurels care home on your right and The Royal is about 100 m further on your left hand side.
