Meet Glasgow Queen Street Station (M & S) in time for the 1030 express train to Edinburgh Waverley Station. Toilets at Waverley Station before we start our walk at 1140.
This is a city and parks walk taking in the Royal Mile, The Meadows, Holyrood Park, Calton Hill and back to Princes Street gardens and the Christmas Markets (optional).
Please use designated traffic crossings when in the city centre. We will have lunch at the Scottish Parliament at the foot of Arthur's Seat.
Mostly flat with couple of inclines. Mainly pavements and paths across the Meadows (sometimes muddy!)
There is an option to visit the Christmas Markets in the Gardens or head for some Christmas Spirit at the end of the walk.
