Overview

The walk starts at Grindleford station and heads up Padley Gorge to Burbage Bridge. We will then head over Hathersage Moor to Higger Tor before reaching Upper Burbage Bridge. From there our route takes us along the Sheffield Country Walk towards Stanage Edge. We then descend to Hathersage via North Lees and Cowclose, before returning to Grindleford along the Derwent valley.

Anyone who has caught the train to Grindleford has the option of leaving the walk at Hathersage and returning from there, shortening the walk by 2 miles.
